It is risky to move loads. A load could fall out of the crane or hoist when the load is fixed incorrectly. Therefore, it is important to use the correct lifting equipment, fixing the loads in a decent way and communicate efficiently.

A participant is able to work safely, responsible and efficient way after successfully following the course “fixing building loads”. Additionally, it is required to successfully succeed the theoretical assessment before participating the practical part.

This course is for employees who are active in the construction sector and have to work with fixing building loads.

Theoretical/practical

Working with transport containers
Lifting and moving reinforced steel
Working with block clamp and a safety net protection
Working with lifting equipment
Loading and moving of formwork walls
Loading and moving of scaffolding materials
Loading and moving of hollow-core slab floors and wide slab floors
Loading and moving of prefab facade elements
Loading and positioning of prefab stair elements
Clearing, bundling en loading materials for unloading and to load on a truck

Results
A theoretical and practical assessment will be taken at the end of the course. The participant will receive a certificate if the assessments are made successfully. This certificate has a validity of 5 years.
