Assistant Well Drainer

Wellpoint dewatering is essential for maintaining the groundwater level. It lowers the water level. It's essential for building sites, excavation work, construction pits, trenches for cables and pipes, and soil remediation. This training program trains you to become an assistant wellpoint dewatering engineer. You'll be responsible for the installation and maintenance of wellpoint dewatering systems. You'll primarily install vacuum and gravity dewatering systems and install filters and pumps. The program teaches you everything you need to know about these aspects. Want to continue your education? You can! With some experience, you can earn the Wellpoint Dewatering Engineer diploma and eventually progress to the position of Infrastructure Supervisor.

What will you learn during the course?

The course combines theory and practice. You will learn:

  • How to install a drainage system.
  • Maintaining a drainage system and how to check whether it is working properly.
  • Correctly removing the pumping system.
  • You will learn practically how to maintain and handle a pump.

What do you get afterwards?

We conclude the training with a theory exam. Upon successful completion, you will receive an industry-recognized Assistant Well Dewatering Operator diploma.

Additional information

  • Those who continue their education and gain experience can obtain the Well Pumper diploma and ultimately progress to the position of Infrastructure Manager.
