Container Forklift Driver

The container forklift is designed for loading and unloading containers and for moving them at a storage and transshipment location. A sliding spreader or top loader is attached to the container forklift to pick up containers. Containers are delivered and loaded via the container forklift to vehicles such as trucks, railcars, terminal tractors, or for transshipment onto ships. Container forklift drivers are held to high standards to work safely and responsibly. Therefore, it is important that container forklift drivers comply with the latest safety requirements and have received proper training and instruction in accordance with occupational health and safety legislation.
