The New Way of Working is about working more fuel-efficiently with earthmoving and/or road construction machinery to reduce costs and CO2 emissions from mobile equipment. The objective of this course is to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to efficiently instruct, guide, and assess operators regarding the proper operation of earthmoving and road construction machinery.
The customized "Coach the New Way" course lasts two days. The focus of this course is on the role and responsibilities of the coach during the practical training of the operator of earthmoving or road construction machinery. Guidance involves coaching, conducting interviews, appreciating, evaluating, motivating, and so on. Behavior in all its facets is a key element of this.
This course is designed for civil engineering professionals. Participants can share their acquired knowledge and skills in New Ways of Working within their own organizations with operators, focusing primarily on training skills and teaching methods.
The course is a combination of theory and practice.
Day 1: theory
Day 2: Practice
The first and second day are given consecutively.
At the end of the second day, a practical assignment will be administered. If this is completed with a passing grade, you will be awarded the BMWT certificate “Recognized Het Nieuwe Draaien Coach”.
