Preventing Excavation Damage in FttH Projects

Preventing Excavation Damage in FttH Projects

During this training day, participants will learn all the necessary aspects of carefully digging and drilling (according to CROW 500) for fiber optic (FTTH) projects. Participants will learn the theory of reading drawings, the WIBON Act, digging test trenches, and, of course, safety and damage prevention.

During the practical part, participants will work on site orientation, reading plans, mechanical excavation, pre-drilling, and operating the solo rocket. The goal is to reduce the number of excavation damage incidents in FttH projects.

The training aims to increase safety, reduce damage reports, and establish a uniform, recognizable working method. The course materials are offered in Dutch, as well as in Polish and Turkish.

The course is suitable for employees who perform trench excavation work. It is also ideal for foremen, site managers, and process managers who supervise trench workers.
