The Safe Lifting Operations Installations (Maritime) training course is designed for supervisors/persons in charge of lifting operations in the maritime sector. Safe Lifting Operations participants learn to interpret lifting plans, how to safely attach loads, and how to move loads safely with a crane.

What will you learn during the training?

The course combines theory and practice. You will learn about:

  • lifting equipment
  • various taps (types and appearances)
  • safety aspects
  • safe slinging of loads
  • communication
  • daily maintenance
  • attaching loads (practice)
  • working with a crane operator (practice)
  • inspection of lifting equipment

What do you get afterwards?

The course concludes with a theoretical and practical exam. If this assessment is positive, you will receive the Expertise Safe Lifting Operations Module 1 & 2 or 3 certificate.
