Winter schooling
You can contact SOMA Bedrijfsopleidingen for winter training. Starting in early January, you can schedule dates and times for your employees to be trained using the course calendar on the SOMA Bedrijfsopleidingen website.
The course offerings range from safe roadwork and visible leadership to mandatory refresher courses for the TCVT (Construction and Infrastructure Act). In addition, there are various workshops and masterclasses, including UAVgc (Construction and Infrastructure Act), EMVI (Employment and Infrastructure Emissions Act), contract forms, civil engineering, and more. These workshops cover a variety of topics specifically aimed at infrastructure and vertical transport employees.
Revised WION Act
Approximately 20.000 excavation damages occur annually. To reduce excavation damage, the updated CROW guideline "Preventing Damage to Cables and Pipes" came into effect in November 2016. This new guideline focuses on the entire project process. During the one-day course "Preventing Excavation Damage," you or your staff will learn all about the new WION Act. Click here for more info.
The New Spinning
Operating machines more intelligently can save significant energy. The New Way of Turning offers various applications for this, quickly achieving fuel savings of up to 10%. The course covers the following topics: fuel consumption, machine purchase and maintenance, working methods, and engine technology. Click here for more information.
Save with E-learning
A new addition to the training and course offerings at SOMA Bedrijfsopleidingen is a series of e-learning modules. These modules can be completed in the evenings, so you don't have to schedule your employees' time off. Learning is central to this program, regardless of time and location. Some e-learning modules focus on working through course material completely independently. Other e-learning modules complement in-person classes. A mix of self-study and e-learning allows participants to acquire knowledge more quickly and efficiently. E-learning is the new way to learn alongside a (future) job.
