Winter is in full swing: snow, frost, and icy conditions are making outdoor infrastructure work more difficult in many regions. For companies, this can mean postponed or temporarily halted scheduled work—even though employees are still available.
At SOMA Training We like to think along with you in these kinds of situations. That's why we organize additional short courses and winter training to help companies effectively deploy their teams. This turns a challenging workweek into an opportunity to invest in safety, professionalism, and mandatory certification.
During periods of winter conditions, we schedule additional training sessions where possible, for example, for renewing or obtaining certificates. This helps companies to keep employees practical and fast to retrain, especially when outdoor work is temporarily not possible.
Safety is paramount at SOMA. That's why we always consider current weather forecasts when organizing additional courses. This sometimes requires extra flexibility—including from our instructors.
To ensure that courses can continue, it may happen that a teacher travel a day earlier and stay overnight near the training location. This way, we prevent winter conditions from disrupting the training and can deliver training as close as possible to the client's location.
Every situation is unique. That's why we always work with you to find a solution that fits your company's schedule, location, and needs. Whether it's an additional training session, an alternative program, or a modified schedule: Together we ensure that development continues — even when things aren't going well outside the box.
Please contact one of our account managers or send us an email. We are happy to help you find a suitable training solution or an additional training session.
