SOMA takes a leading role in sustainability during Mobility in Motion

The meeting took place last Wednesday Mobility in Motion (MIB) Place, the teacher's day for vocational (MBO) and pre-vocational secondary education (VMBO) teachers focusing on mobility and infrastructure. This year, the conference center on our grounds in Harderwijk was the venue for this inspiring event. Our director Koen Stephan represented SOMA and opened together with Jan Hommes, director of BMWT, the day. In their keynote address, they discussed how SOMA and BMWT are working together to make the sector more sustainable. SOMA is playing a pioneering role in this by investing in emission-free machinery, innovative learning environments, and future-proof training for professionals.

In addition to fascinating workshops, visitors were given an exclusive tour of our site. There was a lot of attention paid to the impact of SOMA College en SOMA Training: of the impressive cranes to it Living Lab for (underground) infrastructureThis site – a former barracks – where we have our headquarters has grown into a creative breeding ground where professionals of all ages come together to learn and innovate.

With Mobility in Motion SOMA has once again demonstrated that it is the place where knowledge, innovation, and practice converge. More information about MIB can be found at mbo-events.nl.
