Attention employers in the civil engineering, road construction and hydraulic engineering (GWW) and related sectors: the Practical Training subsidy scheme has reopened. From June 2 to September 17, 2025 Companies can apply for this attractive scheme, which is intended to provide financial support for offering practical training placements.
As SOMA Training We would like to draw your attention to this opportunity. This scheme is particularly interesting for companies that offer practical training positions to MBO students route of vocational training pathway (BBL).
For MBO students you can contact our namesake SOMA CollegeThey provide vocational training at the MBO level, for which this subsidy applies.
For adults we offer as SOMA Training A wide range of practical training courses. Good news: our OCW-recognized courses for adults are also eligible for the Practical Training subsidy scheme.

The Practical Training subsidy scheme is intended to encourage employers to offer apprenticeships. The subsidy amounts to a maximum of €2.700 per completed practical training position per academic yearThis partly offsets the costs of workplace guidance.
The application period closes on 17 September 2025 at 17.00 hourYou can apply via the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl) website. Make sure you have the correct information ready in a timely manner, such as a practical training agreement and supervision report.
