Many positive reactions from VVT members about the use of blended learning and simulators in lessons. On Wednesday, December 11, 2019, the last VVT members' meeting was held at our park. A private VVT members' meeting and an associate members' meeting were held. The new VVT chair was elected at the private VVT members' meeting. During lunch, members were able to use the simulator, take a tour, and attend a demonstration of blended learning.
Welcome speech by director Koen Stephan
On Wednesday, December 11, 2019, the final members' meeting of the Vertical Transport Association was held at our park. Director of SOMA Business Training and SOMA College, Koen Stephan, performed the opening ceremony and welcomed everyone. The SOMA Business Training company film was then shown.
New chairman of VVT
The private VVT members' meeting and the associate members' meeting were then held. During the private VVT members' meeting, the new chairman of the Vertical Transport Association was elected. Peter Sierat, an entrepreneur and logistics consultant, will be the new chairman of the Vertical Transport Association, effective January 1, 2020.
Simulators and blended learning
Simulators and blended learning are regularly used in our courses. The VVT members were very positive about the simulator demonstrations and the blended learning. During lunch, the VVT members were able to use the simulator to complete several exercises. They also received a tour of the SOMA buildings. A blended learning demonstration was given by account manager Luuk Schepers (SOMA Business Training) for the vertical transport courses.
