Preventing Excavation Damage & Locating Cables and Pipes (WIBON Act)

More than 45.000 excavation damages occur annually, costing an estimated €730 million annually. To reduce excavation damage, the updated CROW guideline "Preventing Damage to Cables and Pipes" came into effect in November 2016. This new guideline focuses on the entire project process. Changes to the CROW 500 have been implemented since April 1, 2021. Are you fully aware of these changes? These changes will be covered during the course.

This course is intended for anyone directly involved in excavation work: ground workers, operators, and even foremen and site managers. Working safely is crucial. After completing the course, participants will understand the practical implications of applicable laws and regulations and how to dig carefully in accordance with CROW 500.

The course is suitable for civil engineering workers, machinists, foremen, or project managers who want to learn more about careful digging and preventing damage to underground cables and pipes.
