Do you want to work as a cable layer and contribute to the energy transition? Then take the CKB-accredited cable layer course. During this 5-day course, you'll be trained as a novice cable layer. As a cable layer, you'll assist with basic underground work on low-voltage cables, basic work on house connections, and assist with work up to the meter boxes. You'll learn to work from drawings and according to instructions. You'll assist with digging trenches and laying cables in the ground. You'll also assist with network outages.
Safety is paramount when working with electricity. Working with low-voltage cables is a specialized field within infrastructure technology. This course includes practical training, while the remaining time is devoted to the underlying theory. The course concludes with a theoretical and practical exam.
The course is suitable for employees who want to be trained as a cable layer in a short period of time.
