Digital Tachograph Directive Professional Competence

The training informs drivers about the transition from analog to digital and provides insight into the operation and use of the digital tachograph. In addition to numerous practical exercises, the training clarifies the legal frameworks and implications of the digital tachograph, such as the Working Hours Act, the Transport Working Hours Decree, the overlapping regulations, and the latest amendments to EC regulations. Communication and attitude aspects are also covered. Under the European Professional Competence Directive 2003/59, professional drivers are required to complete 35 hours of continuing education every five years.

The Digital Tachograph Plus Training counts as mandatory refresher training for seven hours of theory.

The course is suitable for all professional drivers to whom the Professional Competence Directive applies.
