After completing this drilling foreman training, you will be able to conduct deep drilling and manage the team. You will be familiar with the different soil layers you may encounter. You will be able to install a vertical borehole made with a flushing borehole, with a loop for geothermal energy extraction. By sampling the soil layers, you will be able to take the appropriate measures to prevent the borehole from collapsing. You will also know how to backfill the borehole according to the guidelines of the SIKB (Foundation for Infrastructure, Quality Assurance, Soil Management). These guidelines are important for protecting the subsurface.
After successfully completing this training, you can start working at various drilling companies that operate in geothermal energy extraction (closed systems).

We conclude the training with a theoretical and practical exam. Upon successful completion of these exams, you will receive the industry-recognized Drill Master diploma.
