Providing reliable drinking water is one of the most important goals of a water company. Therefore, it is essential that work on drinking water pipes is carried out hygienically and responsibly. In this course, participants will learn how to responsibly implement and observe the necessary hygiene measures when working on drinking water pipes.

To work safely with asbestos cement pipes, it is crucial to comply with safety regulations. More than 40.000 kilometers of asbestos cement pipes are present in the Dutch gas, water, and sewer systems, and these must be worked on safely. Employees working with asbestos must be aware of the consequences of working with asbestos and work in accordance with regulations. Strict rules apply to the removal, relocation, maintenance, and repair of asbestos cement pipes. After completing this course, participants will have gained knowledge about working safely with asbestos cement sewer pipes.
