On an increasing number of construction sites, infrastructure projects, in the petrochemical industry, and ports, where heavy loads are lifted or complex lifting operations are involved, certified riggers/lift supervisors are utilized to better guide crane operators and riggers during lifting jobs. This certified rigger/lift supervisor assists with positioning the crane and moving the load, while advising personnel on the construction site. Do you work on an offshore mining installation? This course covers all these aspects. Participants will gain knowledge and skills related to safely and responsibly attaching loads, using the correct tools, and assessing risks. Often, half a day is devoted to theory and half a day to practice at our training ground. During the course, we work towards the theoretical and practical exams, in accordance with the final and test criteria of the TCVT certification scheme.
On the last day, an external examination agency will be used to administer the theory and practical exams.
