A subsidy program for staff retraining was launched yesterday. This subsidy supports the retraining of staff for promising professions. This includes, among others, construction and technology.
From September 26, 2022, through Thursday, December 1, 2022, a total of €10.000.000 will be made available for retraining for promising professions in ICT and Technology. Retraining for promising professions in construction and infrastructure is also covered by the scheme.
The goal of the Retraining Scheme is to financially support all employers in offering retraining programs to (new) employees. This allows (new) employees from other professions to be trained for promising careers in construction and infrastructure. For the employees themselves, retraining for promising professions offers a sustainable perspective on the job market.
