SOMA Business Training provides education and training for civil engineering and vertical transport, both nationally and internationally. What are you going to do?

As Earthmoving Machine Instructor do you work within a team of experienced instructors and are you the details SOMA Corporate Training at clients' locations. Courses are held both at our own locations and at client sites. Your duties include:

✅ Providing practical courses on the wheel loader (shovel), hydraulic excavator and backhoe loader combination.
✅ Guide and instruct students, helping them improve their professional competence and safety.
✅ Perform workouts that vary in duration, from one day to several weeks, depending on the training program.
✅ More than 70% of your time actively working with the machines, so that students gain optimal practical experience.
✅ Convey your passion for the profession and contribute to safety and quality in the infrastructure sector.

What are you taking with you?

✔ Extensive experience as earthmoving operator.
✔ Preferably a earthmoving machinery operator diploma (for example from SOMA College).
✔ Knowledge of and affinity with machines and cranes is a plus.
✔ Well informed about safety regulations and legal provisions.
✔ Driving License B and control of the Dutch language (oral and written).
✔ Didactic skills or the motivation to develop them.
✔ Decisiveness, independence and a proactive, motivating work attitude.
✔ Flexibility in planning and deployment.

Don't have any instructor experience yet? No problem! We value ambition and motivation over experience.
