Asphalt road construction is constantly evolving. During the course, you'll be updated on all the latest mixture types and technologies. The instructors maintain close contact with the industry, ensuring you stay up-to-date on the latest developments. You'll also learn how to identify and repair damage to roads and asphalt. The various construction methods will also be covered, as well as the best ways to reuse asphalt, for example, by adding it to a specific layer of new asphalt. Furthermore, you'll learn answers to questions like: How do you prevent rutting in asphalt and thus accidents? In other words, which asphalt mixtures are high-quality and safe?
During the four-day Asphalt Knowledge 2 course, the theory is explained in even more depth than in the Asphalt Knowledge 1 course. The course is for anyone working in asphalt road construction who wants to further expand their knowledge of asphalt production and processing. A certificate is required for this course. The theory parts:
At the end of the Asphalt Knowledge 2 course, you'll receive a certificate of participation. This certificate proves you're an expert in asphalt. You'll be available on the road construction project for any questions about asphalt, from the correct asphalt mixtures to the work involved in paving and repair.
