There are approximately 28 asphalt plants in the Netherlands. The operator monitors the quality of the production process. They ensure that large quantities of raw materials are accurately metered to produce the highest quality asphalt. The asphalt production plant operator is responsible for the smooth running of the process and coordinates the work. They also handle the daily maintenance of the plant. All these aspects are covered during the Asphalt Production Plant Operator training course.
This course consists of theory and is divided into two years. It doesn't matter whether you first take Asphalt Production Plant I or II. During the course, you will learn about:

We conclude this course with a theory exam. If you successfully complete both exams (Asphalt Production Plant Operator I and II), you will receive the industry-recognized diploma (MBO level 3).
