KIAD stands for Quality Instruction for Drinking Water Installation and is a personal certification for anyone working on drinking water pipes. This applies to the installation and repair of drinking water pipes up to and including 200 mm in diameter.

The topics of this exam training are the same as during the certification, namely:
The instructor links theory to practice, and students apply the theory through exercises. Practical examples can be discussed. The KIAD AVP course covers the same topics as the KIAD VPA course, but with the addition of topics relevant to the KIAD AVP, such as reading technical drawings and schematics and applying the WION (Information on Construction and Building Regulations).
