Employee of shielding equipment/guide rail

A guardrail must be able to stop a bus hitting it at a speed of 70 km/h and an angle of 20 degrees. The structure must not deflect excessively to avoid endangering other road users and also not take up too much space. Last but not least, a guardrail must also be friendly to lighter vehicles. For the workers who install these guardrails, it's important to ensure they do so correctly.
