Mobile Hydraulics

Mobile Hydraulics

High quality is crucial for hydraulics used in mobile installations. Efficiency is a key focus, and operating pressures up to 400 bar are common. Furthermore, leaks are unacceptable, and noise is a significant factor. It's clear that maintenance of mobile installations requires special attention. This course is therefore designed to provide greater insight into the structure and operation of hydraulic systems for self-propelled machines or machines with their own power supply that are mobile. The training is also very useful for mechanics and operators who perform maintenance on their own machines. Click here for information about Modern Motor Management.

What will you learn during the training?

The course is a combination of theory and practice.

Theory:

  • Mobile hydraulics schematic reading
  • Standard circuits (open and closed center systems, series and parallel)
  • Control valves (manual, hydraulic and electrically operated)
  • Servo control (hydraulic and electric)
  • Pressure and flow control valves (proportional technology)
  • Cylinder constructions (single- and double-acting)
  • Hydraulic pumps (fixed and variable output)
  • Pump control (PQ and LS control)
  • Hydraulic motors (fixed and variable)
  • Hydrostatic drive (driving and swing drive)

Practice:

  • Elaborating component assignments
  • Connect hydraulic components according to diagram
  • Locating faults using the hydraulics simulator
  • Taking measurements on machines

What do you get afterwards?

At the end of the course, a theoretical and practical exam will be administered. Upon successful completion of this exam, the student will receive a certificate.
