Mobile Equipment Mechanic

As a mobile equipment mechanic, you're your colleagues' right-hand man. You'll track down and troubleshoot machinery malfunctions, and repair or replace defective parts. You'll also change engine oil, lubricate components, adjust machinery, and check its proper functioning after repairs. All these facets are covered during the Mobile Equipment Mechanic training course, helping you become an indispensable employee on the shop floor. The course consists of several modules. All modules conclude with a theory exam, and the training concludes with a practical exam.

What do you learn during the mechanic training?

During the training, you'll develop your skills in various areas to become a mobile equipment mechanic. You'll learn, among other things:

  • How and Why to Perform 0-Turns
  • Maintaining drive systems
  • Maintaining engines
  • Maintaining hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems
  • How to effectively and efficiently maintain small equipment

What do you get afterwards?

Once you have passed all the exams, you will receive the industry-recognized diploma at MBO level 2.
