The construction hooker assists with lifting operations by attaching and detaching loads, guiding loads, and providing signals and instructions to the crane operator on the construction site. Therefore, the content of this certification scheme is less extensive than the TCVT Hoist Supervisor certification scheme (W4-08), making it more suitable for the qualification of the construction hooker.
This training course is intended for anyone who assists and supervises lifting operations on a construction site. The course concludes with a practical exam (conducted by an independent agency). Upon successful completion of this exam, you will receive the TCVT Construction Pick-Up W4-09 certificate. This certificate is issued by TCVT. Neither we nor the independent examination agency are involved in this process. The registration fee of €195 (excluding VAT) is paid by the participant at TCVT. The certificate is valid for 5 years. To renew this certificate after 5 years, the holder must successfully complete the training again.
