The Foundation for Supervision of Certification for Vertical Transport closely monitors the certification of crane operators in vertical transport. According to the Working Conditions Decree (Article 7.32) and the Working Conditions Regulations (Article 7.6), an earthmoving machine operator must hold a TCVT personal certificate of professional competence. This requirement applies to earthmoving machines with a maximum operating load moment of 10 tonne-meters or more, used in construction. The goal of this course is to obtain this TCVT certificate. During the course, you will receive theoretical and practical training to meet the minimum safety requirements in accordance with the TCVT certification scheme "Earthmoving Machine Operator with Hoist Function W4-05." Good to know: this training is eligible for an application for a SOOB subsidy.

The course concludes with a theoretical and practical exam (conducted by an independent agency). Upon successful completion of both exams, you will receive the TCVT certificate, "Earthmoving Machine Operator with Hoist Function W4-05." This certificate (and the XS-ID app) are issued by TCVT-RA. The cost of this certificate, €195 (excluding VAT), is paid by the TCVT-RA participant. Neither SOMA Bedrijfsopleidingen nor the independent examination agency are involved in this process. The certificate is valid for five years, with renewals based on demonstrable practical experience (digital registration) and the mandatory recertification course: the first training day in the first three years and the second training day in the final two years.
