To perform lifting operations as an operator of a mobile or fixed tower crane, you must comply with the legal (TCVT) standard. You must therefore hold a TCVT-registered Mobile Tower Crane/Fixed Tower Crane W4-06 certificate. During the training, you will learn everything you need to comply with this standard and perform lifting operations safely. We prepare you for the theoretical and practical exams, which meet the final and test criteria of the TCVT certification scheme.
The duration of the course varies depending on your knowledge and experience. We offer 5-, 10-, or 20-day courses, with exams administered by an external examination agency on the final day (the 5th, 10th, or 20th day). After successfully completing the theoretical and practical exams, you will receive the TCVT registration "Mobile Tower Crane/Fixed Tower Crane Operator W4-06." This registration (and the XS-ID app) is issued by TCVT-RA. The registration fee of €195 (excl. VAT) is paid by the TCVT-RA participant. Neither SOMA Bedrijfsopleidingen nor the independent examination board are involved in this process.
The registration is valid for 5 years and can be renewed based on demonstrable practical experience (digital registration) and the mandatory recertification course. The first training day is in the first 3 years and the second training day in the last 2 years.
