Interchangeability in the Asphalt Plough

The interactive "Interchangeability within the Asphalt Team" training course focuses on improving the team's output. The results of this training include mutual understanding of each other's work, the ability to observe and take over tasks, improved communication, and increased job satisfaction.

Based on several building blocks, the training can be customized and tailored to specific needs. Therefore, this training is offered exclusively in-company.

The main building blocks are:

  • Insight into technology
  • Insight into mixtures to be processed
  • Communication
  • Coaching and guidance in the workplace
  • Training in operating the various machines

  • Basic Asphalt / Basic Rollers / Basic Asphalt Set / Basic Finishing / Basic Hopper Supply / Seams
  • Start-up meeting why and how
  • Exercise: Communication and coaching: What's your goal? How do you communicate? The tone sets the tone! How do you coach? Support for this process? Sick leave, no idle machines, but also the ability to take a day off?
  • Exercise: Student: Ask yourself questions about what you want to know to master the dual function.

Practice starts at 10:30 AM. The real team will be working alongside the dual role team. This pair will be the coach and the trainee. The first day will then be dedicated to giving people a taste of all the other roles. The kickoff will take place with a start-of-work meeting. The dual role team will get started. The coach will monitor and provide guidance as needed.

Day 2

-Carousel shape:

  • Daily and weekly maintenance.
  • Insight into asphalt work (costs, revenues, failure costs, etc.)
  • Working with new techniques in asphalt work

-Follow-up cases

Kick-off takes place on the basis of a start-up meeting.

Day 3:

-Follow-up cases in the afternoon

Kickoff takes place with a preliminary meeting. The dual role gets to work. The coach monitors and adjusts where necessary.

After two days of track training, our trainer visits the team on-site. Observations and targeted feedback are provided for each individual. Based on the observations, a toolbox meeting is held with the entire team. The asphalt contractor receives additional input for future toolbox meetings to maintain and further develop the knowledge gained from the training.
