Safe Working Along the Road for Contractors and Supervisors

Safe Working Along the Road for Contractors and Supervisors

A roadwork supervisor or supervisor must consider their own safety, that of the road workers, and that of other road users. They assess road closures for their execution and safety in accordance with CROW publications 96a (motorways) and 96b (within and outside built-up areas). These publications cover current legislation and new guidelines regarding road closures on motorways, non-motorways, and roads within built-up areas.

During this course, participants learn to use and interpret publications 96a and 96b in daily practice. The course is certified as "Assessed by the Coordinating Platform for Safety at Work on and Along Roads."

The course is suitable for employees who are responsible for management and supervision of work on non-motorways and roads within built-up areas.
