Working safely with a forklift truck refresher

A forklift is a highly maneuverable and handy vehicle used for a wide variety of tasks. It's estimated that one in fifteen forklift operators is involved in an accident each year. Consequently, forklift operators are subject to high standards when it comes to operating a forklift safely and responsibly. Employees must therefore meet the latest safety requirements and hold a certificate. This course is specifically for participants who already hold a certificate, but whose validity will expire (or will soon expire).

What will you learn during the training?

The course combines theory and practice. You will learn:

  • legislation and regulations
  • vehicle knowledge
  • loading diagram
  • internal transport and storage resources
  • checking the forklift before starting work
  • picking up and transporting loads
  • working with the forklift truck
  • daily maintenance.

What do you get afterwards?

At the end of the course, a practical assessment will be conducted. If you successfully complete this practical assessment, you will receive a certificate valid for 5 years.

  • This course is for participants who already have a forklift certificate. Don't have a certificate? Then take the basic course
  • code 95This course contributes 7 hours to maintaining your professional driver qualifications. Ensure you comply with EU Directive 2003/59/EC regarding 35 hours of mandatory continuing education for professional drivers (Code 95). When registering, please indicate that you wish to be considered for CODE 95.
